of faith and practice. We are followers of Christ, which means we adopt as our outlook on life the characteristics of Jesus. The focus of all His characteristics can be summed up in one word: “love.” Jesus taught his followers and the crowds to love God with all that we are and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Mark 12:28-33). We are a gathering of believers that is dedicated to building up and strengthening Christ’s Church, not just ourselves. We welcome you to join us anytime to share in this building process as we glorify God by loving Him and loving others. Signs, Proclamations, Witnesses

Calling ALL GOOD Cooks!
Statistically, did you know. . . There are more “GOOD” cooks in churches than anywhere else! Well, yeah! We have a lot of practice at potlucks, picnics and fellowship dinners. So that is why we are going to put together a cookbook for Countryside Christian Church. Ladies, get out your recipe boxes, your favorite “church” cookbook, and even that piece of scratch paper that only you can translate, (a pinch of this and a dash of that-Oh, please translate the recipe before sharing it with us, my pinch could be your dash). Also, gentlemen, you’re not off the hook either. I hear some of you are quite the “Grill Masters”. Write up your favorite recipe and share with us. There will be a basket labeled “Recipes” in Rita’s office or if you prefer you can E-mail them to Rita at ritaccc@frontier.com. We would like to start with appetizers and go all the way to desserts. We’re going to collect recipes for the next couple months, so please start bringing them in!
Sunday afternoon, May 6th will be the next opportunity for you to complete one of the four Disciple Development Seminars (DDS) from 3:00 – 7:30 pm. . Please sign up at the Welcome Center. There will be a delicious meal served to all who attend.
